Memory Verse: Romans 5:1-5 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character’ and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
Complete the Editor in Chief worksheet. The paragraph needs to be re-written so that it contains the corrected errors! You will not receive credit for the assignment unless the paragraph has been re-written.
Read Chapters 8 and 9 of Shipwrecked. Write the definitions for the vocabulary words before Thursday. There will be a spelling test this Thursday over ALL the vocabulary words from the study guide. Students should start reviewing their spelling words daily!! 6th Graders will be asked to give a definition for each word as well. Remember that the definition for the vocabulary word should reflect how it is used in the story. The study guide is due in its entirety on Monday, April 29th.
