Study for Wednesday’s Grammar test over Chapter 1 by reviewing the chapter in your grammar book. Write the memory verse, definition and quotation for the character trait, courtesy, in your copywork notebook.

Courtesy – Showing respect to others through thoughtful actions and words.

Proverbs 3:3-4 “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”

One difference between savagery and civilization is a little courtesy. There’s no                            telling what a lot of courtesy would do.   ~ Cullen Hightower

Try this: Make a list of three practical things you can do to make a difference in              someone’s life today and do two of them. (Example: hold a door open for                              someone, guard the tone of your voice, say please and thank you for things you                                  normally take for granted, etc.) Come to class on Monday prepared to share                                 one thing that made a difference in someone’s day.
