Weekly Puzzler:  A drawer contains 8 black socks and 8 brown socks.  You reach into the drawer and randomly pull out a sock.  What is the maximum number of times you must repeat this action before you have two socks of the same color?

Students may bring a computer to school if they would like to work on Khan Academy in class. Students are expected to get 30 minutes on Khan Academy weekly.  This directly affects their grade.

Tuesday:         Lesson 8.1, do problems 8-13, 18-37, 51, 52

Wednesday:   Spend time on Khan Academy. In the search bar type in: introduction to ratios. Watch the video and then try some problems.  This is the day you should spend 30 minutes on Khan Academy (or before).

Thursday:

Friday :           Lesson 8.2, do problems 6-24, 26-29, 38, 39 (students may use a calculator on

this lesson.)

You will need graph paper!!
