On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, you will continue to work on your “Road Trip Project by completing Part Two and Part Three worksheets.” Students will complete the following additional tasks. In each city that you plan to visit, identify two places that you want to visit. Determine the cost of visiting each place you selected, if applicable. Add these costs to the final costs which are calculated on “Part 3.” Come to class with visual aids to present your “vacation.” You will be graded on your math calculations, rationale for your choices, presentation skills, visual aids, and why your choices are a good fit for your family trip. Feel free to bring materials to class on Tuesday if you want to work on your visual aids. If you choose to do research for this project, bring your computer. You will present your “Road Trip Vacation” to class on Thursday of next week. You are expected to make a PowerPoint presentation or use a display board.
Parent Responsibility: Make sure that your student has completed the homework and work is shown for all problems.
