Wednesday:   Lesson 1.2, do problems 35-44, 58-66, and odd problems 75-83. (due                                             August 31st)


                        Lesson 1.3, do problems 19-44 and problems 48, 49 ( also due August 31st)


Friday:           Lesson 1.4 Problems 14-26, 28, 35, even problems of 38-54, problems 56- 65, 69-77, 79-81 (this homework is usually due the following Monday. However this will be due on September 5th as Monday is a holiday.)

David earns $10.75 an hour in a summer job.  He is saving to buy a television set that costs $599.  What is the least number of hours he must work, to the nearest hour, in order to save up enough to buy the television set?
