Lesson 2.5 Do even problems 24-34, 44-49, 58-62, 66, 68, 72, Problem 74 is extra credit for pre-algebra students

 

 

Thursday/

Friday:           Lesson 2.6 Do Problems 22-35, 46-56, 68-74, 79-82, 86-89, 91

Select stock for class project.

 

Answer the following test prep questions:

  1. When k is subtracted from 10, and the difference is divided by 2, the result is 3. What is the value of k?

  1. Steve ran a 12 mile race at an average speed of 8 miles per hour. If Adam ran the same race at an average speed of 6 miles per hour, how many minutes longer did Adam take to complete the race than did Steve?
  2. 9 b. 12 c. 16                d. 24                e. 30

 

There will be a quiz in class over Lessons 2.1-2.6
