Monday:         Chapter 2 Review, problems 2-5 and all problems 7-34

 

Answer the following SAT Prep questions.

Greg’s weekly salary is $70 less than Joan’s, which is $50 more than Sue’s.  If Sue earns $280 per week, how much does Greg earn per week?

Liza took 5n photographs on a certain trip.  If she gives n  photographs to each of her three friends, how many photographs will she have left?

  1. 2n b. 3n                c.  4n – 3          d.  4n               e.  4n + 3

 

Tuesday:        Quiz in class, Chapter 2 Review (in class), and Lesson 3.1 overview

 

Wednesday:    Chapter 2 Review, problems 2-5 and odd problems 35-55 (check your answers in the back of the book.  Come prepared to take the Chapter 2 test in class on Thursday.

 

Thursday:      Test in class

 

Friday:           Lesson 3.1 (calculators are allowed, but students must still show their work when determining the mean, median, or range) Problems 10-18, 22-29, 31, 36, 38, 39, and Math Detective 36 and 37

                  

                   Please bring graph paper to class

              next Monday.

 

Parent Responsibility:

Please make sure that your student shows his work and completes the assignments.

 

To Bring to Class:  loose-leaf notebook paper, pencil, colored pen (other than blue or black)
