Do the following SAT prep questions:

 

A certain store stocks 5 different brands of ice cream, and sells a pint of each for $2.75, $3.25, $2.50, $3.25, and $3.00, respectively.  What is the positive difference between the mode price and the median price?

  1. $.05 b. $.25            c.  $.30            d.  $.50            e.  $.75

 

If the average (arithmetic mean) of b and 2 is equal to the average of b, 3, and 4, what is the value of b?

  1. 2 b.  4                 c.  8                 d.  10               e.  16

 

 

Wednesday:   Do the Notebook Review and Review Quiz 2 on page 140-141

Check your stock.  Make sure that your record this information on your stock sheet.

 

There will be a quiz in class on Thursday over Chapter 3.  

 

Thursday/

Friday:           Quiz and in class review

Do the Chapter 3 Review on page 142-143, problems 1-8, 11-23.  Check your odd answers.  Come prepared on Monday with any questions.  The chapter 3 test will be Monday.  Make sure that you bring a calculator to class.

 

Parent Responsibility:

Please make sure that your student shows his work and completes the assignments.

 

To Bring to Class:  loose-leaf notebook paper, pencil, colored pen (other  than  blue or black) and graph paper
